Application of JINYI Plate-Type Filter Unit
JINYI’s plate-type filtering unit is dedicated to the filtration and purification of molten aluminum, and it is used in conjunction with ceramic foam filters. It can efficiently remove inclusions and tiny particles from molten aluminum, making it particularly suitable for casting high-purity aluminum and high-precision aluminum alloys. The unit exhibits outstanding performance advantages, including thermal resistance, oxidation resistance, corrosion resistance, rapid heating, long service life, and acid resistance.

- High-Quality Material for Key Components: The core functional parts are made of high-purity silicon carbide (SiC). The normal operating temperature reaches 1450°C, and the unit can operate continuously for up to 2200 hours. It features excellent thermal resistance, oxidation resistance, corrosion resistance, rapid heating, long service life, and acid resistance—ensuring stable performance in harsh molten aluminum processing environments.

Mechanical Rotation Type Configuration
For the mechanical rotation type of JINYI plate-type filter unit, the structural design of key components (such as the lifting and rotating mechanism) is optimized for enhanced operational stability. The mechanical rotation system adopts high-precision transmission parts, ensuring smooth and accurate rotation during operation, and it is equipped with a reliable self-locking device to prevent accidental movement during the filtration process.
Lining of JINYI Plate-Type Filter Unit
The lining of the plate-type filter unit is made of high-silicon melting material, which has two core advantages:
- Aluminum Non-Adhesion: Prevents molten aluminum from adhering to the lining surface, avoiding secondary contamination of molten aluminum and reducing the frequency of cleaning and maintenance.
- High Corrosion Resistance: Resists chemical erosion from molten aluminum and its impurities, significantly prolonging the service life of the lining—effectively reducing equipment maintenance costs for customers.
Non-Sticking Test Instructions for Lining Material
To ensure the lining material’s non-sticking performance and the overall reliability of the filter unit, the following test and installation procedures must be followed:
- Install the filter box into the steel casing strictly in accordance with the design drawings, ensuring accurate alignment of all mounting positions.
- Place insulation boards at the bottom and sides of the steel casing, then fix the filter box in place to ensure stable installation and effective thermal insulation.
- Before use, check the filter box lining to ensure it is clean, free of damage (such as cracks or chips), and that there are no gaps between the lining and the casing—preventing molten aluminum leakage or heat loss.
- Preheat the installed filter box properly. The preheating method can be electric heating or gas flame heating, but direct contact between the flame and the filter box wall must be avoided to prevent local overheating and damage to the lining. The maximum preheating temperature should be controlled within 850°C; this step is intended to remove adsorbed crystal water from the lining material, ensuring safe and efficient operation of the unit during formal production.
