About the Product

Shandong Jinyi New Material Co., Ltd. specializes in the R&D and production of hot-top casting series products for molten aluminum. As a core component of the hot-top casting flow control system, the transition plate connects the hat plate, distribution plate, and thimble, ensuring stable and low-turbulence flow of molten aluminum. It is compatible with Wagstaff air slip casting units and widely used in high-end aluminum casting fields such as new energy vehicles and aerospace.

Core Materials & Performance

  • Sigma Material: Suitable for medium-to-high frequency casting, featuring corrosion resistance, high dimensional accuracy, smooth surface, and thermal shock resistance without cracking;
  • N17 Material: Designed for high-load and long-cycle scenarios, with high mechanical strength and wear resistance, suitable for high-purity aluminum casting (e.g., 6xxx/7xxx series alloys);
  • Both materials are compatible with BN coating, which reduces adhesion, enables easy cleaning, and extends service life.

Installation Instructions

  1. Select transition plates and matching components of corresponding specifications according to alloy diameter;
  2. Install components on the upper and lower platforms respectively. Ensure surfaces are smooth, undamaged, and seamless; seal and insulate the sides and bottom with ceramic fiber for heat preservation;
  3. After installation, preheat the platform to 260-350℃ (to remove adsorbed crystal water). Direct flame heating on the lining is prohibited.
